Map and Company Information

Overview

Section titled “Overview”

The Map and Company Information section combines company contact details and an interactive map into a single, comprehensive block. This all-in-one component helps visitors find your location, view your contact information, and get in touch – all in one place.

Fields

Section titled “Fields”

Active

Section titled “Active”
  • Type: Boolean
  • Required: No (default: active)
  • Purpose: Controls whether the section is displayed on the website.

Heading

Section titled “Heading”
  • Type: String
  • Required: No
  • Purpose: Main heading for the entire section
  • Example:
    Find us or Contact & location

Description

Section titled “Description”
  • Type: Text
  • Required: No
  • Rows: 3
  • Purpose: Short description or context for the section
  • Example:
    Visit us at our location or get in touch using the contact details below.

Inner heading

Section titled “Inner heading”
  • Type: String
  • Required: No
  • Purpose: Additional heading inside the map/contact area (e.g. column heading or internal section heading)
  • Example:
    How to reach us

Inner description

Section titled “Inner description”
  • Type: Text
  • Required: No
  • Rows: 3
  • Purpose: Additional descriptive text directly in the map/contact area
  • Example:
    An overview of our contact details and location.

Company information

Section titled “Company information”
  • Type: Reference (companyInformation)
  • Required: No
  • Purpose: Reference to a company information document that contains contact data such as address, phone, email, and business hours
  • Note: It is recommended to always reference an existing company information document to ensure consistent contact details.

Map

Section titled “Map”
  • Type: Reference (mapSection)
  • Required: No
  • Purpose: Optional reference to a map document to display an interactive map with your location
  • Note: When provided, it displays an interactive map with your business location.

Background color

Section titled “Background color”
  • Type: Reference (backgroundColor)
  • Required: No
  • Purpose: Sets the background color for the entire section

  • Heading: Find us
  • Description: Visit us at our location or contact us using the details provided.
  • Inner heading: How to reach us
  • Inner description: An overview of our contact details and location.
  • Company information: Reference to a companyInformation document (e.g. “Head office – city center location”)
  • Map: Reference to a mapSection document with coordinates and marker information (optional)
  • Background color: Reference to a backgroundColor object (optional)

Best practices

Section titled “Best practices”
  • Company information: Keep your company information document up to date – changes are reflected in every section that uses it.
  • Map integration: Add a map for businesses with physical locations to help visitors find you easily.
  • Completeness: Make sure all contact information in the company information document is complete and accurate.
  • Layout: Use the heading, inner heading, and descriptions to clearly structure the section.
  • Background color: Use sparingly – high contrast can reduce the readability of contact details.
